A Model 28KSR for $500!!! It has the "HERE IS" mechanism on the keyboard (fairly rare these days), as far as I can tell from the picture.

Based on my research of numerous teletype and vintage electronics websites, I believe this unit to be a Full Size, Pedestal Stand, Bell Systems, Teletype, RTTY Model 28 KSR. Based on an original log inside the base of the unit, I believe this came from the USAF 185th Fighter Wing HQ in Sioux City, Iowa.
Unit is very clean and appears to have all the necessary functional parts (roll paper holder is not pictured but is included). I have no expertise with these machines or any way of knowing whether the unit is functional. Due to that, the unit it is being sold as-is, all sales final, no refunds, no returns, and there are no warranties express or implied.
Winning bidder will pay all crating, packing and shipping charges from NW Iowa, to be determined at close of auction. No personal checks. Paypal preferred, but will also accept non-revocable money orders or major bank cashier's checks.
