Seem to recall "dash pot" from a physics class, makes sense it was coined
during the "golden age" of invention........

   Abreviating too much can lead to interesting consequences or acronymns
can be fun :).  We have a marketing type who only speaks in 3  or 4 letter
(not THAT kind) words.  After a 20 minute session I held up my hand and 
asked......WTF?  TMA! (Too Many Acronyms) go ask your mother about 
the other one....this is a family list after all.   Got the standard PC BS lecture
from inhuman resources and reminded them I'm ex-military, may have PTSS,
worked for USPS once and I'm really stressed.  They do leave me alone now :).
