There has been some chatter questioning the published information by ARRL
about the KH7K/KH4 status change.  The ARRL information is true and correct.

The published information about Midway and Kure Islands is true and correct.
The DXCC country count will be reduced by 2 entities. The DXCC entities list
and LoTW will be updated and DXCC scores will be tabulated to reflect the
changes.

All,

If someone had wanted to create an April Fool's story involving the DXCC
program, I think creating one involving the deletion of P5, North Korea from
the current list would have been a great target.  Think of all those poor
DX'ers sitting at 1 off of Top Of Honor Roll lacking only a P5 confirmation
that would have rejoiced at such a move.  After years of waiting for a legit
P5 operation and then to have their dream of #1 handed to you only to learn
later it was all a spoof.  Talk about a roller coaster ride!   

Hmmm, I have a year to work on that story, think I'll get started!  Nah, too
cruel.
