Mike have you worked a FK station? I found FK/F6KCS on Jan 29 20m cw. FK8CP
is also active. He has been doing a lot of work on 6 meters. I heard him one
day on the band around the first week of February but did not get him worked
much to my distress. I know he is also active on 10m. He comes up on the
ON4KST 6m chat every day to announce he is cqing towards the USA on 6m.

Worked 9G1AA yesterday for the Gold Coast. He was on 20 meter ssb with a
HUGE pileup on his frequency. I don’t know how, but some how he picked out
my call in the mayhem!

Mike, I'm sure NC1L could answer your question. But he may be swamped with
day-to-day DXCC card checking issues. I agree with your thought about
checking with NN1N, who is very involved with the Diamond DXCC award.

Yes, I've been having fun with DDXCC, and it's a good history lesson on the
DXCC program. But you're right about the questions - it will keep them busy
fielding the inquiries!

Cliff,

Thanks for getting that info from HQ. The Diamond Jubilee is fun but I
think it has brought up more questions than one might have thought.

I still have not heard from HQ on the status of the recent FW0 operation.
According to the historical info out on the internet, in the 1930's Wallis
and Futuna were part of and were administered by the colonial government in
New Caledonia. I wasn't until after the end of WWII that Wallis became its
own colony under the French Overseas Territories. I sent an email to NC1L
asking for a ruling but never heard back. Perhaps I should go to Dave for
an opinion??

73,
Mike

Dave Patton NN1N at ARRL HQ just notified me that they have confirmed that
