[Great-River-DX] member question for group

I did talk to Romeo via Facebook and asked where he found out about our
group and he indicated he ran across it on the QTH.net page that shows all
the email lists and had no previous contact with anyone in out group before.
I did indicate we were a small, local group and that I was asking the rest
of the group about their thoughts on whether to consider members from
outside our area. He indicated it was no problem. He is also promoting a
young contest group, South East Europe Contest Club http://www.seecc.co.nr/
so it may be just another outlet for his promotions.

I'm like Jim - not sure why he'd want to.  I suspect he thinks it's a larger
group in numbers or geographical area.  I wonder if you could email him and
explain our size and coverage area, and see if he still wants to join.  An
alternative approach if there is some hesitation on opening the group up
would be to say that we limit membership to this area for meetings and DX
spotting and decline his request.  

I'll go with the majority, and don't have any major objection to him
joining, but I lean toward keeping the group small in size and geography.
Of course, if he is planning a trip to P5 soon, and wants to set up CW skeds
with his friends, then I'd welcome him with open arms!

Rabic.
What are your thoughts about letting him and others not from our area
joining the list?
