Gang,

 

160 has been great lately.  I have a line noise problem to the NE so
whenever it is off I like to be on the band and take advantage of it.  I
still only have a piece of wire 125' long for an antenna and also have
worked a lot of Europeans barefoot.  I did have my amp on last night and for
a while it was like a contest except that every contact was a European.
Didn't hear any SMC'ers but there had to be some stations on.  I worked
about 25 different stations last night.   Get on these conditions can last
forever.

 

There hasn't been much PR but the pre Stew Perry is coming the weekend
before the CQWW SSB contest.  Obviously the same weekend as the ILQP.
