[Great-River-DX] April meeting

I appreciate the offer, and if you want to schedule lunch around 12:30 p.m.,
that would still be lunch time, yet might give me a chance at getting there.
For me, later in the day is not better, since we'll have family in from out
of town for Easter and we sometimes go to church on Saturday night.
Please don't do any major tinkering with the date or time on my account,
because others have relied on the schedule. And if you do too much
tinkering, then someone else will have a conflict. Thanks for thinking of
me, and I'll do the best I can to get there.
Cliff

Cliff and all,
If the 7th of April is still OK for a date, then how about making it later
in the day to accommodate the pancake serving time conflict?
Just a suggestion...
Mike

Fred, as I said earlier, I'm OK with leaving it on April 7. A few of us
will always have a conflict on some date, and that's the date that was
agreed upon at the meeting. If I can get away from serving food at the
Kiwanis Pancake Day, I'll try to make the meeting.

Hey Guys: It seams as we progress closer to spring we get busier on
weekends. I do have the date of April 7th open now since I put it in my
planner a while back, if we should change it ,the only date I have left open
in April is the 21st, the club is having our Special Event of K9P on the
28th of April. In May my only weekends open are the 12th and 26th. I'll be
in Dayton on the 19th. That's my schedule, but as Cliff said ,we will never
be able to pick a Saturday that works for everyone schedule..So I'm for
whatever the majority wants to do. ...Fred....KBØWIL...

With both Swains and Scarborough on the air in April, maybe we should
consider postponing the meeting until early May, possibly Sat. May 5. Then
we'd have a lot of the April rare DX to talk about at the meeting.
Jay, if you want a landline call for Scarborough, for your last one, I'll be
glad to call if I hear them with a workable signal. I'm sure others in our
group would also be willing to call. If you'd like that, let me know your
phone number, and if anytime day or night is OK, or what limitations you'd
like on calls.
It would be a good idea if our group spotted Scarborough on 146.94 and this
email reflector when any of us hear them with a workable signal.
I've got Scarborough on CW, but do need them on SSB for my last one on SSB,
so am looking forward to working them on phone.
Cliff, K0CA

Yep, its going to be tough to fit a meeting in with Scarborough on the air
hi. I know I will be looking hard for them for my last country. I would be
interested in how the others around the area are hearing the Spratley group
with times and frequencies to get an idea of the propagation. I'm hoping
there will be a little better propagation in April than what there is now to
that part of the world when Scarborough is on. I'm afraid our window of
opportunity will be small.
