Chris,

The manual for the 10811A has a 723 regulator circuit for the oscillator so you
can use a common 24V supply for the oven and oscillator, section 2.11.

Subject: [GPS_Standard] Power Supply questions

Thinking about power supply requirements:

10811A oscillator needs:
11-13 VDC  40 mA  for the oscillator  (< 100 uV ripple)
    20-30 VDC  into 42 ohms  (< 30 mV ripple)

Trimble Resolution T GPS : 3.3 VDC  110 mA
GPS Antenna:  3.0-5.5 VDC  55mA
RS232 level converter 3.0-5.0 VDC

Controller board:
something greater than +5 VDC unregulated for powering the
controller logic
-5 and +5 VDC for control rails  (< 100 uV ripple)

I'd like to divide up the power supplies if that will help the overall
stability.
Any suggestions or ideas about what things can share supply and
what shouldn't?  Should I have a completely separate transformer
to feed the oscillator and control rails?

Chris
