[GPS_Standard] Alarm reset sequence

Hi Bob,

Your questions are welcome. It's all part of the learning exercise...

It is harmless to depress the alarm latch clear button at any point in time
and under any status. You could repeatedly do it, you could even permanently
tie the pin to ground. Of course, when the FLL is Unlocked, this would have
no effect. But as soon as the FLL transisions to Locked, the alarm latch
would clear. I personnaly would not do that because it would mask other
possible alarms, but it is possible to do it...

Cheers,

Bert, VE2ZAZ

Subject: [GPS_Standard] Alarm reset sequence

Hi Bert;
I hope I'm not becoming an unwelcome irritation.

Would the following alarm reset sequence interfere with anything else
going on with the controller?
1) power on.
2) lock detected and output enabled (if set up this way)
3) processor resets alarm condition, current POR only.
4) continue with normal operation with no further auto. alarm resetting.

Regards, Bob K7HBG
