Hi Bob,
HP oscillators require that you set the tuning slope to negative, otherwise
the system will never lock. As for tweaking the other parameters, I provide
suggestions of values on my website, but maybe other users will want to make
suggestions to you.
Best Regards,
Bert, VE2ZAZ

Subject: [GPS_Standard] New Freq Standard Project
Hi Everybody;
I've gotten everything hooked up and correctly powered. GPS_STD is
talking and all seems to be kinda working and so, I have a question.
I'm using a 10811 oscillator with an electrical tuning of (-)5v to +5v
and frequency decreases that is, increasing the tuning voltage from neg
to pos. decreases the output frequency. Do I set the controller PIC
through MonTrol for a positive or negative tuning slope?
Are there any other parameters that I should "tweak"?
Best regards, Bob K7hbg
