Guys, This group is fantastic. I have had replies from all over the world and believe that I have found what I need. I am probably going to use an Atmel Mega160 in an Arduino board for the moderating of the TCVO and put some additional functionality in it as well. I'll let you know how I get on. 73 de Steve G0XAR
