Hi Rob,
Thank you for bringing this to the group's attention. It does add some
functionality regarding satellites statuses.
The other project this ham offers is a system that signals when an
insufficient number of sats are in sight. One could combine this signal and
the GPS Standard's output control signal to turn off the reference outputs.

Hello, I thought that the following site may be of interest to the
group to give the GPS standards an extra function.
Tommy Sullivan W1AUV has developed a circuit with a Pic Chip and LCD
to read and display the NMEA serial data off of the GPS boards that
many people are using in their GPS Frequency Standards. Full details
