Hi Joe,
According to the manual I have, the GT does not have the RAIM feature which
provides the ability to squelch the 1PPS when no sats are received. The
Motorola Oncore GT+ doesn't seem to offer this feature either (according to
the links provided below). Try it with the WinOncore12 software. In the
Options menu, there is a Timing Settings entry that allows to set it in RAIM
mode. It also offers other settings to try.
In any case, providing the best possible satellite visibility to your
antenna will garantee that you will almost never have to squelch the 1PPS
anyway and that your 1PPS will always be reliable...

built VE3ZAZ project (all okay Bert, thanks),
have the following question about the Motorola Oncore GP Plus receiver
that I use.
1 pps output (pin 7) with or no antenna is still present .
Is this correct ?
In this case is not possible know if GPS reciver works correctly.
Any idea ? thanks in advance.
