I think there is some 2M AM activity from the military radio people in the Los Angeles area, using SCR-522 and ARC-1 type gear. I seem to recall that Dennis, W7QHO had some 2M AM gear on the air from Fort Macarthur/San Pedro but it's probably just during special events. In any case, there's nothing where I am, which is about 400 miles north of there... Geoff WB6NVH
