Don't forget the Gonset Communicator AM net Thrusday nights at 8pm.
Net control is w0rw on 145.35 MHz. (FT-243 Xtal frequency 8075 kHz)
from Colorado Springs, CO.
After roll call we will be listening on all 2 meter frequencies for
other crystal controlled AM radios.
W0MCT has a Heathkit Lunch Box (Twoer) radio on the air.
W0MOG Barry and KC0EIK Gary have ICOM's
KG0SS Ray has a Communicator and will be transmitting on 145.66 MHz.

Your net control station will be operating with a Gonset Communicator 2B
using an old Gonset Dymanic Microphone. The Gonset power output is 5 watts.
i got my first Gonset in 1955 and was on145.35 MHz. i know guys who worked at
Gonset
in Burbank and i talked to Foss (Faust Gonsett), W6VR, when i lived in the
San Fernando Valley. His son now has his call.
Good turn out tonight for the Gonset Net.
KG0SS has lost his Gonset Communicator 2 case and also needs an 8075 kHz
crystal.
You can get a Gonset Communicator on eBay for less than $50.
i added a cavity to my Gonset to eliminate the Aircraft Band images.
Have you noticed there are no ARRL specifically assigned frequencies for 2
Meter AM...
