Hi Larry,

I have just completed restoration of my G-76. Was fortunate enough to get
it from the original owner. The rig itself uses the cabinet with the "star"
pattern. The power supply/speaker uses the "flat top" cabinet. Actually,
each would interchange. But, the convention seems to be setting the rig on top
of the ps/spkr.

Hope ur rig(s) are fb. The VFO's are somewhat drifty but one expects that
for a rig this age. I'm anxious to get 10m open and go 10m AM with it.

BTW, pay particular attention to the screen resistor. Regardless of
schematic or how you found them, this should be 47K, 10watts. (Use 50k, 10w and ur
in business)

I've spoken to two of three G-76 owners I know and it seems they use them
frequently. Have seen them in ER past issues. Maybe someday a G-76 AM or CW
gathering.

Have fun with it. It is a well built rig....................
