Well, I got it mainly to play around with the AM. I have quite enough CW 
rigs to choose from. I am surprised how stable the G-76 is after about a 
30 minute warm up. Guess I must be lucky. I also got the matching power 
supply/speaker. 

I was just listening to the AM signal on another receiver. Very pleased 
to note no hum at all. As soon as I finish the bezel repainting it should 
be set to go.
