That looks like more of a Exec II or Master II.....the 88 says its a UHF 
model (450-470MHz)....the 55 says its a 35watts model (the 1st 5 is 
power) KCU would be 12 channel capable, 3 channels in it from factory, 
and U is the UltraHigh Sens model (it has preamp installed)

I thought the Ranger used a similar scheme to the Deltas (such as 
N3xxYXXX with xxx showing freq range, Y being option and XXX being power)
