[GCARC] Field Day assistance

                                                                                FOR FIELD DAY
We are going to need at least six volunteers to assist with the GOTA (Get On The Air) program. We are offering this feature from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, June 27. I am thinking of having 3 teams (one coach and one logger) help out for a two-hour shift. The coach should be an Extra, but the logger does not need to be licensed.

I am anticipating a very good turnout for this feature as I have sent out an email notice to the principals of 382 schools in our general area. A notice of the event will appear on the website of Harrison Township. The OEM manager of Gloucester County has replied that he may even bring his daughter to the event.

We will have charts with what is needed to call and respond for this event. To make this a rememberable experience to our younger visitors, I have made some color copies of Worked All States so that we can give them a map with the section(s) that they communicate with marked.
