For this contest, we operated 2 radios networked at 100W, and because Bermuda is limited to 100W power out, we had to compete in the high power category with the big gun stations, since there is not a LP category for M2.

Hi all,
Another great contest from Ed VP9GE's QTH.
My 7th trip, and John K3TEJ's 3rd.
Friday night got off to a great start, hit 1000 QSOs 3.5hours in (our normal goal is to hit 1000 by the end of the 3rd hour which we have achieved on occasion). Both stations had the rate window at 250/hr
2000Qs by morning.
We captured all the mults we could hear, and beat last year's total by 2, coming in at 332. Best band for mults was 15m, with 61 of the 63 possible per band. 15m & 20m were the money bands for QSOs, only 60 Qs apart at the end.
10m was way down, and with the K index at 4 & 5, many bands were far from optimal. Saturday evening around midnight, we QRTd. Got up 6AM local, to find the bands crappy. By mid-afternoon, the high bands were a little better, and our score and QSO count recovered.
Final results this year were down 300qsos from last, and about 10% down in score from last year's M2 LP operation with John K3CT & John K3TEJ.
I will be back solo for ARRL SSB, 4-10Mar.
As I write this, about 8in snow is on the ground in my part of South Jersey, and the connection flight from Charlotte to Philly already cancelled Tues. Looks like we'll be stuck in VP9 another couple days.
Enjoy the snow, and hope all of you are safe, and the antennas/towers survive.
Thanks to the many FRCers who worked on 5 an 6 bands.
VP9 is backwards in that it's easy to work us on 160, but difficult to work us on 10m, although a number of you made it through.
I know Dave WB2PJH, Tony K3TS, and Rick K3OO made it in the 10m log when I was operating, a number of others. Thanks for your patience.
