Hi all,
First time Remote operation for SSB.
Thanks to Sam WT3Q for the use of his outstanding station.
I'm in Nashville for my twins university movein, only had 3hrs op time due to events, etc.
Staying at an Airbnb condo which is nice, but I suspect the wifi is somewhat overloaded from the other units sharing the system. Terribly choppy/breaking up audio in the afternoon made it almost impossible to copy anyone. Switched to my cell phone hot spot, which was better but still had occasional choppiness.
I would say reliable fast Internet for the traveling ham operating remote is going to be the biggest issue.
Great to work Alan N3AD on a couple bands who I know was operating remote as well!
