[GCARC] GCARC Picnic Heads-Up!

Here's an update about Saturday’s picnic at Red Bank Battlefield Park, scheduled from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Rain is forecasted and while our seating area is covered the charcoal grills we’re required to use are not. This means we may not be able to grill burgers and hot dogs as planned. We’re exploring alternatives such as sourcing prepared food but if that doesn’t work out we may ask each attendee to bring a simple lunch for themselves while still sharing the group dishes many of you are preparing. We’re not planning to cancel the event, but please watch for an email on Friday morning with a final decision on the menu. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and we can grill as planned, but we’ll keep you updated.
