[GCARC] Need help installing my new antenna - hustler 5 btv

Hello,

  Santa brought me a new HF antenna for Christmas, but it was too cold to
put it up, dig a trench, etc.  until recently.  I have mentioned needing
help on the Thursday evening rag chew.  I received suggestions and
encouragement.  :)

   I think it will take 2 sessions to get my antenna installed - one  to do
a site survey on where to put the antenna and what items I will need to
purchase, etc.  and another for the actual antenna installation.  I need
help with the cables - I learned during Professor Chris's 2M antenna
construction class that I can no longer make cables thanks to my
Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA).

  I have done research on the web, read articles (including Tony Star's
January Cross Talk article) and watched youtube videos on installing the
Hustler 5 BTV  - I am confused as to how to install it since the manual
says to insert it into the ground with no mention of cement.  Do I need
cement?  Should I install it on the roof of my laundry room?  Should I do
radials?  I have more questions than answers.

  I have plenty of room for the vertical, but need to put it away from the
fence and my 2M antenna.

  I will feed anyone who shows up to help.   I will take pictures and write
it up in cross talk as a part one and a part two.

  Please help me. I need all the help I can get.
