Hey folks -- I know that everyone is geared up in Field Day mode right now,
but please do not forget about the fact that we have our build class coming
up for our Fox Hunt Attenuated Tape Measure Yagi Antenna. The session is a
two-day affair, with the build taking place on Saturday, 12 July and
Saturday, 19 July. This is a one-off build that will take us two weekend
sessions to complete, as it did last year.

There are a very limited number of seats available, so it is best to sign up
*now *to increase your odds of getting a seat in this class. At this
point, the plan is to take the first twelve registrants into the session.

I currently have registrations from the following individuals:

   - Diane Amico W2WHD
   - Rick Bleda KC2SGR
   - Chris Angelastro KE2DST
   - Alex Duboski KB2YEF
   - Darrin Malone KD2ALQ

If you believe that you have registered but you are not on the list, PLEASE
re-register immediately!

Go to Tape Measure Yagi Build – GCARC Payments and Registration Portal <
https://registration.w2mmd.org/wpregp/tape-measure-yagi-build/> to reserve your
seat and to submit payment for the class. The cost this year is a modest
$60, up slightly from last year's figure. This is due to the across-the-board
increase in parts and materials costs.

*DON'T DELAY -- SIGN UP NOW TO GET A SEAT!*

All necessary materials will be supplied. On the first day (Saturday, 12
July) of the two-day class, we will build and test the KC9ON attenuators,
which come in kit form with all required parts included. On the following
Saturday, 19 July, we will assemble the antennas and install the
attenuators to the antennas.

Remember that these are highly-tuned receive antennas, and as such are not
intended for use as transmitter antennas.

PLEASE remember to reserve your seat NOW! This is on a first-come,
first-served basis, with a very limited number of seats available.
