Hope everyone is having a great Summer!
I am looking for one or two volunteers to assist with the Technical Forum
at the Hamfest on September 7th. The primary responsibilities will be to
help me with the preparation and setup for the forum, possibly introduce
one or more of the speakers, and make sure that things run as smoothly as
possible during the sessions without any serious technical glitches.
This will be a great opportunity to participate in and support an important
part of our hamfest and provide you with great learning experience and
unique perspective on topics of interest to our club members and the ham
community. Even more important, you will provide us with the necessary back
up if one of us can not attend the day of the hamfest.
The topics at this year's forum will be:
- Your Antenna Performance in 3D by Jim Wright, N3GXJ
- An ARRL update by the Atlantic Division Director and NJ Section
Manager of the ARRL
- Introducing A Younger Generation To Amateur Radio Through STEM by
Angela Metzger, KE2DRJ
As you can see, this is going to be a great program and a lot of fun.
Please contact me if you are interested in volunteering.
Thanks.
