hi randy,

A cheaper and in my opinion much easier option is to get a subscription to
a site called phillyfirefeed.com for p25 public safety listening.

there are a number of options for what counties/systems you are interested
in. you can specifically select what talkgroups/frequencies you would like
to listen to and depending on what you choose, what tower sites also.

i initially chose the 6 month 5 feed option for i think 25 dollars to see
which systems you might like. if you want to make a change, your not
beholden to waiting a year to do so.

listening options include any mobile or desktop device, there is an app,
and web browser option both are really well laid out and beats spending
crazy money for a scanner. they do it all for you and their coverage area
is excellent. all of se pa, most of nj, and delaware. some statewide
systems are included too.
