Cool happening just now. Got a notice from Paypal, $150 received from FTC Avast lawsuit (they sold personal data without consent).
 
Back in 2018 I purchased Avast one time, Black Fri sale for $19. Anti-malware/spyware virus checker. 
Worked well, but only bought one time.
 
A year back I got a snail mail about the FTC lawsuit against them. Filled out my info online.
$150 in Paypal just now.
Great return on investment!
