Conditions were good today for a nearby state QSO Party. 

 

I was desperate to reach 100 at 40 minutes until the end of the contest and
new CW stations just weren't there on 40m, so I unscrewed barrel on the rig
end of my fan dipole coax, asked the tuner in the TS590SG  to TUNE and made
3 80 meter contacts at the end.

 

First 80 m operation in lots of decades!
