[GCARC] ATTN POTA Chasers

            On Thursday, May 9 the Fair Lawn ARC will activate Paterson
Great Falls National Historical Park (POTA site US-0751) in Paterson, NJ
using the club call W2NPT.

            We plan to go on-air at 9 AM and continue operating until 2 PM,
weather permitting.  Operation will focus on 40 and 20 meter phone but we
will use spotting for updates.

            We will be one of several exhibitors at a combined Earth
Day/Science Fair run by Paterson Public Schools.

Our function will be to demonstrate Amateur Radio to hundreds of school-age
students, their teachers and Park Rangers.  

You can help out by giving the kids someone to talk to via radio.

In addition to W2NPT, our local FLEXmeister Dave de Coons WO2X will add some
21st Century WOW factor by bringing his FLEX Maestro and 5G hotspot to
remote-operate his home station.
