Stan,

I'm glad you asked. I'm also a volunteer member of the Radio Crew on the
Battleship.

There is no formal Ham Radio activity in regard to the moving of the
Battleship. The tugboat crew and the contractors that will be onboard the
ship will be communicating with each other and if you have a scanner, you
might be able to pick up some chatter.

The Ship will be leaving the dock in Camden at 12:10 L. I will be there for
the ceremony and then I'm going to drive down to the park on the river in
Gloucester City for a good view of the ship going under the Walt Witman
Bridge.

The ship will be going to Paulsboro NJ first and then a couple days later,
moved over to the Navy Ship Yard for dry dock.

Hope to see you there.

Subject: [GCARC] USS New Jersey

Does anyone know if there is going to be any ham radio activity taking place
in conjunction with the movement of the USS New Jersey from Camden to the
Philadelphia Navy Yard tomorrow?

Thanks.
