Tony,
This was a great operation. The ce & SSB ops were all good, keeping the pileups running. Also, not much intentional QRM compared to other recent major operations. I personally missed them on 80 & 160 but filled the rest of the cw & some SSB slots. There may not be another trip there in my lifetime. I hope all of the club’s DX chasers got them in the log.

Greetings All!

Anyone who has not yet worked TX5S, they are packing up early tomorrow, so
this is your last chance to work them.  They were originally scheduled to
stay until the beginning of February, but some issues have convinced them
to leave early.  They have been wildly successful, with over 93,000 QSOs in
the log, and they have been fairly easy to work, too.

Right now they are on 28.485, and are S9 using the iMax vertical on top of
my garage at 12 feet.  With the 5 element beam on the tower, they sound
like they are across the street from me.  This is a good opportunity to
pick up a rare one if you don't have big power or a big antenna.  Right now
they are calling for Europe, but the sun has already set over all of
Europe, so that path WILL BE closing.  Do not squander this opportunity.
If you need them, you need to work them TODAY!  That is all.
