[GCARC] STEM program with school

Good Day to you.

 

     I am a member of the club and also a member of the school board of
Upper Deerfield Township School District.

I am going to recommend to our district that we look at partnering with
local experts to develop a STEM (Science, Technology,

Engineering and mathematics) program.  

 

    I would like to provide education to our 6th - 8th graders on HAM radio,
the science, math, engineering and technology behind it.

I know that there are many areas that the kids would be anxious to learn
about and perhaps become ham operators themselves.

   I hope that some members of our club members would be interested in
providing presentations and classes on HAM radio and all

that is involved.  I am also hopeful that the club would adopt the program
