[GCARC] Groupon Hacked my Credit Card

I recommend checking with your card issuer to see if they have a virtual card feature. Citigroup offers for one of my cards. The feature is for making purchases online.

I create a virtual card for each vendor/site I purchase from. I can set a custom expiration date and daily spending amount. Once a transaction is processed by a vendor, the card cannot be used by another. Card number is useless to everyone except the vendor I first used at. If I want I can terminate prior to the expiration date. The transactions on my card statement also indicate which virtual card.

WOW
What a bummer.
Hopefully Chase will be able to fix the situation and you won’t be charged.
I’ve ordered over 2 dozen things from Groupon, including the Windows deal, and had no problems.
A friend of mine also ordered the Windows deal without issue.
Please update us if they are able to determine who did it.
Were you able to get a serial number for Windows 11?
My friend and I both did, and he already used his on a computer.
