Please Fwd...
You only have to drive to Warminster, not Connecticut.

Ahh yes, the mecca of amateur radio...
The Warminster Amateur Radio Club is planning another trip to ARRL headquarters in Newington Connecticut sometime in April. So far, they have 10 Warc members interested in joining the day trip. They need a minimum of 30 people to make the bus trip worth while.
Please contact Irwin directly to put your name on the bus seat.

Everyone,
So far only 10 people have signed up, well below the minimum 30 required at $85 each. Please let me know if there is any more interest in the trip before I cancel.
Thanks,
Irwin KD3TB

The Warminster Amateur Radio Club is proposing a Bus Trip to ARRL HQ in Newington, CT. in April 2024. This trip is open to all Amateur Radio Operators in our area. The trip will leave from and return to the Senior Citizens Center in Warminster, PA. This is a full day event and the actual date is to be determined after discussion with ARRL on their availability for touring and meeting with ARRL Department Managers and timing for the ARRL Station.
The final cost will depend on the number of Hams who are signed up.
At a minimum of 30 Hams, the cost would be $85 each. A full bus of 50 would reduce the cost to around $51 each. Below 30 Hams, the trip becomes too expensive.
If you are interested, please send the following information to: Idarack(at) gmail.com
Full Name
Call Sign
Email Address
Telephone Number
Once we get an idea of the number who are interested, we can get a final determination of the cost and actual date.
All Payments when finalized will be processed through the Warminster ARC.
Thank you,
-
