We hope everyone is having a great summer.

Well, it is now the time to start some end of summer rituals, the start of the new school year, the last summer holiday, getting the winter clothes out of storage, and of course the 2024 Bike MS – City to Shore.  (September 28th and 29th , 2024)

We are 6 weeks out from the event, and we are shocked to say that our recruitment is doing vey well.  We need 15 more HAMS to fill our roster of Route Check Points, and I am sure that you folks want to sign up early so you don’t have to read those emails from Joe D begging and pleading for volunteers those last 10 days.  We are also still looking for some specialized HAMs out there, but that will be addressed in a later email.

We ask everyone to check, and try to clear, the event weekend on their schedules.  Route folks are only out on the road from 4 – 6 hours per day (according to your assignment) to help make a difference to all those folks out there living with MS.  The debilitating disease that takes away from these folks a lot of what we take for granted every day.  Please believe us that the appreciation that these folks have for those that come out to volunteer and help, far surpasses any and all thanks than we have for your commitment to Public Service.

Our email list is growing, but is nowhere near what it could be so that we didn’t have to ask everyone to please forward our emails to everyone they know, HAM or not, to volunteer for this great event.  If you have already volunteered, but have not received a confirmation, please contact us.
