[GCARC] SNJ ARES ALERT - Potential Tropical Cyclone SIXTEEN

>From the desk of Tom Devine SNJ Section Emergency Coordinator.
Southern New Jersey Amateur Radio Emergency Services teams are requested to be on ALERT for the effect of the "Potential Tropical Cyclone SIXTEEN" predicted to impact coastal and inland areas of SNJ Section starting tonight, some area are currently noticing higher winds.
County SKYWARN Coordinators are requested to keep team informed, collect and process Spotter Reports in accordance with "Spotter Report Information Sheet" requirements to NWS in Mount Holly.
TIMING: Start Monitoring Conditions 2000L tonight 9/2/2023. End monitoring when storm event passes possibly in to Sunday.
ALERT:
* Monitor local situation storm condition for damages, power outages, tornados, funnel cloud, waterspouts, etc.
* Report weather conditions accordance with "Spotter Report Information Sheet" requirements to NWS in Mount Holly though County SKYWARN Process.
* Activate Nets when needed

Rain and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 60. Breezy, with a northeast wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a high near 68. Breezy, with an east wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
