[GCARC] Learn by doing - Tech Saturday learn by doing - antenna modeling

As you read about in Crosstalk, if bring a laptop to tech Saturday, we'll
set you up to be able to model your own antennas, purchased or home brew.

Come on out for some learning by doing!

Ever wonder what might work best for you?  A dipole or inverted V? End fed?
Vertical?
Beam?  And what frequencies you might be interested in, be it UHF / VHF /
HF or other?

Since we can't see the radio waves with our own eyes, it's hard to
visualize what a given antenna might be expected to do for you.

Also, it is really hard when designing a home brew antenna to be putting up
antenna, measure, taking down, tweak, then putting it back up over and over
again. Too physically arduous of a way to try and experiment!  Maybe this
antenna modeling thing would be a great skill to have in your own toolbox
to narrow down the choices first!.
