In the message body, please include a one or two-word description of the weather occurring at your station ("sunny", "partly cloudy", "windy", etc.), and temperature reading if you know it. Make sure your client is reporting your correct location.
We will reply to all messages.
N2KDX will operate as EchoLink Net Control from 1900-2000 UTC on EchoLink Node: 7203 *WX-TALK* I’m happy to hand off this spot to an experienced EchoLink operator – let me know if you’re interested!!
We’ll run a schedule of FM repeater operation on both days as follows. Some will be a stretch from Mt. Holly but we’ll do our best! Times are EST, of course. Once we learn which repeaters we can and can’t key we’ll post updates on the SNJEMCOM list.

We’d previously mentioned operating on 1.25 meters but the event guidelines don’t include that band.
At this moment we are still awaiting permission from NWS to deploy a temporary HF antenna at the premises. We expect an update Thursday morning.
We will monitor a simplex frequency, 146.565 MHz (no PL) to lift the burden of answering the door from NWS staff. Please call WX2PHI when you desire entry.
We ask that you please sign in/out when you arrive and leave the premises. Enter at the front of the building, facing the road.
Log sheets will be provided. Please log all QSOs.
Since the U/VHF operating position is adjacent to the main forecast work area and other employee cubes, please bring along a pair of headphones with a 3.5mm plug.
If you’d like to come to the Mt Holly Forecast Office to visit and/or work the event please drop me a note at fzalupski at gmail.com<mailto:fzalupski at gmail.com>. Include when you plan to arrive.
Please keep an eye on this mail list for updates.
Again, I’ll say that this is a great opportunity to renew the relationship between NWS and amateur radio. Thanks for your support!
Regards,
Fred
