This Saturday the RCA Museum team at Rowan University will present a program on the radio that RCA developed for the Apollo lunar lander. They've also reconstructed one of those units and will demonstrate it at this session. This promises to be a fascinating event so don't miss it! Details are on the w2mmd.org website - select the Current Events tab and scroll down to the announcement for parking information. The session starts at 10 AM.
For anyone interested in carpooling over from the Clubhouse I'll be there around 9 and will plan to leave at 9:30 with up to three other members. Anyone else interested in driving over is free to meet then as well.
And don't forget about the Geminids meteor shower that will occur on the following Friday and the weekend when we'll be setting up to work some 6 meter meteor scatter QSOs. More info will be available next week.
Finally, the deadline for signing up for the GCARC holiday dinner is only a week away. Grab your seat at the table at the w2mmd.org website.
Hope to see you at ALL of those club events.
