[GCARC] Field Day 2023

All,

6 Days! 6 Days until the best damn Club event of the year except for the
Hamfest.

 

I am still looking for more food donations and volunteer helpers.

 

The food donations I have so far are :

Frank N3PUU & XYL : Hoagies for Saturday lunch, meat balls, sausage, pasta
for Saturday dinner (maybe midnight snacks)

Potato Salad : Rolf KD2VQG, Jim KA2OSV

Italian Pasta Salad : Steve W2SEF

Pasta Salad : Earl KD2NCH

Baked Beans : Chris AD2CS

Ham : Lee N2LAM

Green Salad : Bill N2FZ

Hot Dogs & Rolls : Mike N2WOQ

 

I have the hamburgers and rolls

 

Deserts :

Dirt & Sand : My XYL (yes, it has odd names, but they great. I will give you
the recipe)

Brownies : Steve W2SEF

 

We could use some more deserts! I think we are OK with Saturday lunch and
dinner. Sunday breakfast will be eggs, sausage, and hash browns.

 

We have all the condiments, chips, paper plates, etc. so don't worry about
them.

 

Melissa KE2BEK & Ethan KE2AVA have volunteer to handle BBQ duty. Thanks
again to Bill N2FZ for getting the BBQ working and cleaned up. For now we
will have to use a butane lighter to light the BBQ until we can fix the
battery igniter.

 

What I really need are some helpers, runners, and cooks! None of this works
without volunteer helpers.
