SUBJECT: WINTERHEAT AMATEUR RADIO SIMPLEX EVENT

WINTERHEAT IS A MONTH LONG AMATEUR RADIO SIMPLES EVENT.
THE GOAL AND PURPOSE IS FOR AMATEUR RADIO OPERATORS TO MAKE AS MANY
CONTACTS AS POSSIBLE OVER A MONTH LONG PERIOD OF TIME USING ONLY DESIGNATED SIMPLEX FREQUENCIES.

INSTRUCTIONS FOLLOWS:

1. Go to https://hamactive.com/WH23/index.php
2. On the upper left, click on REGISTER.
3. Enter your callsign and click NEXT.
4. Enter your email address and create a password and re-enter it to confirm. Then click NEXT.
5. You'll see a message telling you to expect an email confirmation from Ham Active Info.
6. Open the email and click on the link on the line that says, "Please visit the verification page To Confirm your information"
7. You should now see a page that says you may now log in. Now that you're registered, you can just go to step 8 to confirm or enter any QSOs in the future.
8. Go to https://hamactive.com/WH23/index.php again and click LOG IN.
9. Click on CONFIRM MY QSO.
10. You'll see all the QSOs that others have already logged.
11. Click on CONFIRM on the right side of each QSO.
Note:
To log a QSO, click on LOG MY QSO at the top, fill in the other station's callsign, click NEXT, select the frequency used, add a note (optional),and click LOG QSO.
