The weekly Skywarn Net and the ARES Net @ has been cancelled because of the
holiday.

 

Monday, January 2, 2023 begins a new phase of Club sponsored education. The
new semi-monthly TechNet will take place @ 2000 Hours. It will be a ZOOM
meeting. Go to : https://gloucestercountyarc.weebly.com/gcarc-technet.html
and download the PDF which has the ZOOM log-in instructions for the January
2 & 16, and the February 6 & 20 ZOOM meetings. Everyone is welcome.

 

Steve Farney, W2SEF will be presenting WSJT-X and all the stuff that goes
with it. It should be a very interesting and informative series.

 

Tuesday is the weekly Tuesday Noon Day 2M Rag Chew Net @ 1200 Hours on the
2M Repeater / Echolink W2MMD-R.

 

Tuesday is also the weekly 10M Rag Chew Net @ 2000 Hours on 28.465 & 28.475
MHz.

 

Wednesday, January 4, 2023 is the first General Membership Meeting of the
new year. It's happening @ 1930 Hours at the Pfeiffer Community Center and
simulcast on ZOOM. Go to :

Tony Starr, K3TS will be presenting a program on 5 Band DXCC. We will also
have a chance to greet the new Club officers : new President Jon Pearce
WB2MNF, new Vice President Ron Block NR2B, new Corresponding Secretary Frank
Romeo N3PUU, new Directors Chris Prioli AD2CS and Jim Wright N2GXJ, and new
Trustee John O'Connell K2QA.

 

Thursday night is the weekly 2M Rag Chew Net @ 2000 Hours on the 2M Repeater
/ Echolink W2MMD-R.

 

Saturday, January 7, 2023 is the first Tech Saturday Forum of 2023 and the
forum's  8th Anniversary. It's happening @ 0900 Hours at our W2MMD
Clubhouse. Everyone is welcome.

 

Chris Prioli AD2CS will presenting an introduction to oscilloscopes. There
will also be RTTY training in preparation for the ARRL RTTY Roundup taking
place this weekend starting at 1400 Hours on Saturday. And as always, every
Tech Saturday is an open discussion about any Amateur Radio subjects of
interest. The HF station will be open for local operating.
