[GCARC] Geminids meteor shower - scatter operation and observing

The Geminids meteor shower is one of the best of the year and it peaks on Thursday (although it's active for many days before and after) so I'm going to give it a try on Thursday night, both for operating and photography assuming good weather. I'm planning to get to the Clubhouse around 6 PM (yeah, this one should be earlier than the Leonids...) and work on it for the next several hours. Any club members who are interested in this type of activity are welcome to come down and see what's going on. I'd appreciate it if you'd email me that you're coming so I know to expect you and can alert you if my plans change. Hopefully we'll make some good contact and possibly get some good pictures.
