Several weeks ago we had another fascinating visit to the RCA Museum at Rowan University, complete with a private lecture on the development and construction of an authentic working Apollo lunar lander radio. Several attendees have expressed their appreciation to the Museum team and have asked if a contribution could be made to facilitate their work there. The best way is for individuals who attended to prepare an individual donation to the Museum and give it to Anthony Cerami N2OAC at a club meeting (perhaps the General Membership meeting this Wednesday night) or to GCARC treasurer John O'Connell K2QA at a meeting or any Saturday at the Clubhouse who will pass it along to Anthony. I note that a visit to the Franklin Institute costs $25 and the RCA session was clearly better, so perhaps that would be an appropriate donation amount. Unfortunately the Museum team is an informal group without separate legal status and doesn't have banking facilities so contributions need to be made in cash. I hope that the GCARC members who attended will show their appreciation by helping to support this great local resource.
