The latest Hamfest flier is on the website for viewing and to download. This
year will be the 5th Annual ARRL SNJ Section Convention and our 45th Annual
Hamfest.

 

Mark Gottlieb, KK2L will be operating a special event station, callsign W2M,
at our Hamfest. Mark operated the same call at out 40th Hamfest in 2018.

 

Time to start promoting our Hamfest on club net's throughout the region!

 

Phil-Mont has a net every weekday at 5:00 pm on 147.030 (91.5) & EchoLink
W3QV-R.

SCARA has morning net at 9:00 am on 146.745 (146.2) & EchoLink K2BR-R.

SJRA has a Monday night net at 8:00 pm on 145.290 (91.5) & EchoLink K2AA-R.

Marple-Newtown ARC has a daily net at 8:30 am on 147.195 (100.0) & EchoLink
N3RJV-L.

 

There may be other nets I do not know about, so get on them and promote OUR
HAMFEST!

 

Tell them to go to our website that will have the latest Hamfest
information. It is being updated daily! Also look at the 2023 Hamfest
Sponsors page, which is being updated daily with door prize information.

 

Also, if you want to VOLUNTEER for our Hamfest, go to the 2023 Hamfest
Sign-up Sheet on the website and SIGN-UP!

 

We also need VEs for the Hamfest exam session at the Clubhouse starting at
0900 Hours. You can sign-up for that on the Sign-Up Sheet web page or
contact Gary Reed N2QEE.

 

2023 HAMFEST MEMBERSHIP SPECIAL : People who sign-up for Club membership at
our Hamfest, the Full membership fee will cover the balance of this year
PLUS  the entire next year. New members MUST sign-up at the Clubhouse! I
would rather handle the sign-up procedure in the Clubhouse than to burden a
fellow Club member up at the Hamfest to help someone fill out the membership
application and take their money. I will setup a PC in the Clubhouse with
access to our on-line membership application and access to the FCC website
if they need an FRN before taking the exam.

 

Whew! I think that's enough for now!
