[GCARC] Newest iPhones can send Emergency SOS via Satellite

Apple uses the GlobalStar network and the pointing app is built into the operating system. The orbital elements are updated periodically in the background and when the emergency SOS function is triggered it looks at the GPS location and time and computes the next visible satellite. It then give the user visual prompts to point the top of the phone at the satellite.
Pretty straightforward stuff…
