As per Jeff's request...  He asked me to pass on to the  group that his
surgery went well, according to the doctor. He is, of course, still in the
hospital, and he does not yet know if he is going directly home or to a
rehab facility on discharge from the hospital.. He will keep us informed as
to his progress...
