For anyone interested, the International Space Station's Kenwood D710GA is
in cross-band repeater mode today!
FM 145.990 MHz up {PL 67} & FM 437.800 MHz down
And there is a near overhead pass tonight, rising from the North-West @
22:04 local time, near overhead @ 22:08, then going below the horizon in
the South-East @ 22:14
If want to try to hear, when it is near overhead, about 5 minutes into the
10 minute pass, you don't have to tune your receiver for doppler (437.800
is fine).
For doppler, on rising you might want two slightly higher FM frequency
settings pre-set (437.810, then 437.805), and on setting, two slightly
lower FM frequency settings pre-set (437.795, then 437.790) to choose from.
If trying for a QSO, can keep it on FM 145.990, with repeater pl tone of 67.
Good luck to anyone who tries!
Hope to "hear" you tonight,
Jim, n2gxj
