[GCARC] Club House Access Weekend of June 11th - 12th

All Members:

As you may remember from recent past years, the 4H property now hosts the
Sip Into Summer Wine Festival  for one weekend in June. This has twice
occurred during our Field Day, which initially caused no real problems, but
as the wine event grew, the need for more parking became apparent.  In a
lucky break, this year's wine event will be held two weeks prior to Field
Day, which frees up the property for us on the 25th and 26th with no chance
of interference.

We have agreed to allow the wine event to use our property for parking, and
in return, the 4H association will allow us to expand our Field Day
operation beyond our boundaries at no additional cost to us. For this
reason, and by request, I am officially cancelling all work parties,
instructional sessions, and local operation of the club station during the
weekend of June 11-12, while the wine festival is open.  If you absolutely
need to access the clubhouse, it should be done during the early morning or
evening hours while the wine even is not open, but even then, you need to
be on official business for the club.

This unusual and unprecedented action is necessary to allow us to keep a
good relationship with the 4H Association and to ensure that Field Day goes
smoothly without any conflict with our landlord.  If you have any
