I love Field Day more than any other ham radio event, but every time
somebody mentions WINTER FD, I start having flashbacks to the Petty's
Island qualifying event several years ago! Um, no thanks. I will be in my
warm little shack with the kilowatt amplifier on working the CQWW 160
contest. See you in June for the traditional muggy and buggy Field Day
event.
